Our annual Scholastic Book Fair will be October 22 – 26. Schedules have already been sent home with dates and times, including our GRAND events for the week. GRAND stands for Grandparents, Relatives, Aunts & Uncles, Neighbors or Dedicated Caregiver! We would love your student to bring someone they admire to share lunch with them and shop the fair! Anyone entering the campus will need a Category I volunteer form, which will be available the day of the event, or can be found at the district website rcsdk8.org. We look forward to seeing you at the fair!

September 21 is our first DanceA-Thon! Pledge and information packets have been sent home with all students. This year, we are accepting online pledges through Pledgestar. Pledgestaris very user friendly and allows you to register your students and ask for pledges from family and friends. You can follow your students progress easily and help them track their prizes.

The Father/Daughter Dance is Friday, March 16! We are so
excited for this year’s event. Forms are due March 2nd, so
please be sure to turn them in!
We’re also still in need of a photographer to generously donate
their time for our Father/Daughter Dance! One of the
highlights of the dance for the girls is to get their picture
taken with their dad. It’s a wonderful commemorative piece
for everyone! If you are interested or know someone who may

THIS Saturday, December 2nd 9:00AM – 12:00PM Multipurpose Room at Fiddyment Farm Crafters * Vendors * Bake Sale * Donuts & Hot Cocoa * Raffle * Santa SANTA – Visit with Santa from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Visit is free with donation of unwrapped toy. Toy donations will be sent to Sierra Forever Families. Toys are for ages 0 – 17.

Saddle Up and Read! Our Book Fair is coming! Shopping hours will be as follows: Monday, October 23, 2pm -7pm Tuesday, October 24, 3pm –8pm Wednesday, October 25 & Thursday, October 26, 3pm –7pm Friday, October 27, 3pm –5pm
We are in need of many helpers this year with set up, selling books and our big family event! Please consider donating an hour or two of your time.

First, we would like to thank all of the families and students who participated in getting pledges for our biggest fundraiser of the year, Run for Funds! The money will go directly back to our school to fund school assembles, the school musical, playground equipment and much more!
Second, thank you to everyone who took an hour or more to help volunteer the day of the run. We appreciate all your time!

Our goal this year is to raise a total of $60,000 to fund school assemblies, teacher allotment for supplies, art docent program, music program, playground equipment, Friday folders, school planners, and so much more. Check out our website to see what PTC funded last year! We only have 2 BIG fundraisers this year, which are the Run for Funds and the Spring Carnival. We will have two other fundraisers which will help fund the library which are the book fair and the gift of reading.
